Pine Ridge Civic League Easter Egg Hunt 🐣🌸
Join us at Pine Ridge Park on Saturday, March 22 for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! The hunt begins promptly at 3:00 PM and is open to children ages 0–12, with eggs separated by age groups to ensure everyone has a fun and fair experience. Please remember to bring your own basket. In the event of rain, the rain date is Saturday, March 29. We look forward to celebrating spring with our Pine Ridge families!

Scholarship applications for the Pine Ridge Civic League Scholarship open on April 15. Graduating seniors are encouraged to review eligibility requirements and apply.
Front Entrance Spring Cleanup
Join us for the Pine Ridge Spring Clean Up on Sunday, April 19 at 3:00 PM. Neighbors will work together to refresh common areas and prepare the neighborhood for spring. The rain date is Sunday, April 26.

Letters for Santa
🎄✨ Don’t miss our Santa’s Letter Mailbox! Kids can drop off letters to Santa in our special mailbox (location TBA), and just before Christmas, Santa and his elves will deliver replies straight from the North Pole.
Front Entrance Fall Clean Up
Mark your calendars! On Saturday, November 22nd at 9:00 AM, we’ll gather at the Front Entrance for our annual cleanup. This year, we’re adding something extra special—after sprucing up the entrance, we’ll be putting up our Christmas decorations to bring some holiday cheer to the neighborhood.
We need your help to make this day a success! If you’re able, please bring along:
Leaf bags
Rakes, shovels, and gloves
Power equipment (leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.)
The more helping hands and tools we have, the quicker and easier the work will be.
In case of bad weather, our rain date will be Tuesday, December 9th at 9:00 AM.

Veteran's Day Ceremony
Please join us on Tuesday, November 11th at sunset (4:58 PM) at the Front Entrance of our Neighborhood as we come together to honor the brave men and women who have served our country—both past and present.
This simple yet meaningful gathering will include a community toast to our veterans, as we stand together in gratitude for their sacrifice and dedication.
Bring your family, invite your neighbors, and help us show our appreciation for those who have worn the uniform.
Fall Festival
Mark your calendars for a fun-filled day at the Pine Ridge Civic League Fall Fest on Sunday, October 5th, from 1 PM to 5 PM! Enjoy live music, bounce houses, games, and more as we celebrate our community and the changing seasons.
This year, families who have paid their 2025 Civic League dues will receive free entry, making it a perfect opportunity to connect with neighbors and enjoy a fantastic afternoon together.

End of School - Glow Stick Bike Parade
Celebrate the start of summer with a glowing evening bike ride through the neighborhood! Meet at the park at 8:00 PM for a treat and free glow gear provided by the Civic League. We'll light up our bikes with glow sticks and LED lights, then ride together and return to the park. Weather permitting only—no rain date.
Memorial Day Family Bike Ride
Kids are invited to decorate their bikes in red, white, and blue and join us for a fun neighborhood bike parade. We'll start at Pine Ridge Park with a treat for each rider, take a loop through the neighborhood, and end back at the park for hot dogs and chips. Helmets required. Friends and family welcome!
2025 Spring Community Yard Sale
The Pine Ridge Civic League is organizing a community yard sale scheduled for May 3, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled to May 10, 2025. Residents wishing to participate must register by May 1, 2025, to ensure their home is marked with a balloon, making it easier for potential buyers to locate their sale. This event encourages community involvement and provides an opportunity to sell gently used items.
Garden Club Annual Plant Sale
The Garden Club's annual plant sale will be on Saturday, April 26th, from 9 AM to 2 PM at Tall Pines Bend. A variety of plants, including flowers and greenery, will be sold to benefit the Garden Club and neighborhood beautification projects. Hangry's food truck will return, offering tasty options for attendees.
Annual Civic League Meeting
Voting is soon, and all members are invited to elect new Officers for 2025. Open positions include Secretary and Vice President. Your voice is important. We will also present the proposed 2025 budget, which requires your input and a vote. Join us at 2260 Sandy Woods Lane for an engaging evening. The social hour is from 7:00 to 7:30 PM, followed by the business meeting from 7:30 to 8:30 PM. Your participation is encouraged, and we look forward to seeing you!
Christmas Light Contest
Let's spread some cheer, and show how Pine Ridge celebrate Christmas! Houses within Pine Ridge have a chance to win some Christmas Cash. Prizes are given out for three categories, Griswold House, White Christmas, and Neighbors Choice.
Santa Claus Parade and Candy Delivery!
Join us in your front yard with your kids and family to enjoy a visit from Santa Claus! Santa will be riding through the neighborhood while playing holiday music, and your littles won’t want to miss this as he’ll be throwing out some candy!
This will surely get you in the holiday spirit and certainly delight the children along the route!
Pine Ridge Civic League - Special Meeting - Grace Bible Church
The Pine Ridge Civic League will be holding a special meeting to discuss Grace Church's request for a conditional use permit. This meeting will provide an opportunity for the church to present their plans and for community members to voice their opinions and concerns. We encourage all residents to attend as this decision will impact the neighborhood. Your input is valuable in ensuring that any changes align with the best interests of the community.
Front Entrance Spring Cleanup
Come enjoy the fresh air and get some good old-fashioned exercise at the front entrance spring cleanup! We’ll have donuts and waters!
Please bring your own rakes and gloves to the front entrance. Tarps for dragging leaves & motorized leaf blowers are help! This is a great community service opportunity for kids too!

Since summer is about to wrap, lets get together one more time to hang out and play, and more importantly party! Kona Ice will be at the Park from 7:30 - 8:30. Our movie, The Super Mario Bros, will start at 7:45. Come meet us at Pine Ridge Park to celebrate the end of summer.

Garden Club of Pine Ridge Annual Plant Sale
Garden Club of Pine Ridge - Annual Plant Sale
Our Annual Plant sale is our primary Garden Club fundraising event. The funds raised support Garden Club activites and to beautifufy our Pine Ridge Neighborhood!
We will have perennials, annuals, herbs, vegetables, houseplants, bake sale, local brewed coffee, and a kids area!
Also, Hangrys Food Truck will make their return to the sale!

Stay tuned, January date to be confirmed once more leaves fall. Many hands make light work! Our neighbors help make our entrance look so amazing! We take pride in our entryway, please help us to maintain it by helping to clean our flower beds. Please bring rakes, gloves and a smile, this is lots of fun. Tarps & motorized leaf blowers are a huge help too! Families welcome!

Hospitality Committee Meeting, 6:30-8 p.m.
Have you been told that you have the gift of hospitality? We are looking for like-minded individuals to join a new committee that welcomes new neighbors to the neighborhood. The first meeting will be held at 2152 Tall Pines Bend next Wednesday, May 25 from 6:30 PM to 8 PM.
The highly talented Mr. John Rooney (past civic league president and the delightful emcee at our fall festival) has graciously offered to lead this group. Future meetings will likely be held at his home, details soon. There have been a lot of really sweet new/fresh faces that have moved into the neighborhood lately (and lots of for sale/rent signs)-- let's show'em some love!
